Biography Nakanishi, Toshika (1934 - ?)
Nakanishi Toshika was born in Matsuyama City in Ehime prefecture. Since the late 50s he has been a woodblock print artist and his work has been exhibited all over Japan. His work is easily recognizable by the general avoidance of black outlines: instead the he has chosen to let the colours speak for themselves, a technique similar to the one used by Hide Kawanishi, though for the rest their styles are quite dissimilar.
