Biography Kelly, Daniel (1947 - )

Daniel Kelly was born in Idaho, USA in 1947. He went to Japan and became a student of master printmaker Tokuriki Tomikichirô in Kyoto. Daniel Kelly has remained in Kyoto since then and has become a famous artist himself. His website www.danielkellystudio.com give a very good overview of his work. He has worked in woodblock and in different mixed media techniques - usually in large sizes. He has also made paintings, though these are relatively rare.
