Biography Kasamatsu, Kazuo (1906 - 1970)

After graduating at the Tokyo School of fine arts Kasamatsu worked as an elementary school teacher. He also worked as a freelance newspaper and magazine illustrator. He taught himself printmaking and exhibited with the Nihon Hanga Kyôkai between 1927 and 1946. Not much is known about him or his work after WWII.
